YanYan is a premium knitwear brand founded by former rag & bone Director of Knitwear Phyllis Chan with Hong Kong designer Suzzie Chung.
YanYan (人人), which means “everyone” in Cantonese, reflects the company ethos of making thoughtful design-driven products; thinking about people from sourcing to design to manufacturing to making a connection with our customers.
Our grandmothers taught us to embrace our own individual sense of style, be fearless and wear what makes us happy. Our products are a reflection of that attitude – fun, eclectic pieces that juxtapose modern and traditional elements.

We love to make playful, emotional, and thoughtful pieces that's inspired by our lives in New York and Hong Kong, with nods to our heritage.
Knitwear isn’t a typical medium that’s used in traditional Chinese clothing, and we want to explore what the material can do.
We focus on using novelty yarns with truly special texture and character. Our materials are sourced from specialty mills around the world, and proudly knitted in China.
